I got a call from an old friend that I went to high school with and wanted to know if I would like to shoot her daughters wedding. I was shocked to find out that I had gotten that old, that I would know someone that had a girl that was old enough to get married. However, I was excited to hear from an old friend from my youth and was so happy that Bren thought of me to shoot Layne and Jamie’s e-session and wedding. Layne farms in Vernon Texas and Jamie lives in Quanah, TX, you probably have drove thru it on your way to Amarillo and if you blinked you probably missed it. We schedule the shoot for a balmy 113˚ west Texas summer day. Oh, I can still feel the heat, but we had a good time and walked around shooting against some great backdrops in this wonderful old town. I have to explain the last image, west Texas is known for the Tornado’s, so we had fun doing as setup shot that I could later come back and have a little fun in photoshop. Great couple and I really glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of this time in their life.
